Special Education Opportunities in the NYC DOE
New York City Teaching Fellows who are assigned to Students with Disabilities Generalist Grades 7-12 are eligible to take Integrated Co-Teaching positions or as a Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETTS) teacher. At this time, New York City Teaching Fellow candidates are not eligible to take self-contained positions. New York City Teaching Fellows candidates who are assigned to Moderate/Severe Students with Disabilities Grades 7-12 may take a position in a District 75 school, teaching Grades 7-12, in an alternate assessment classroom
